Kysaiah Pickett is a dynamic and electrifying forward for the Melbourne Football Club, renowned for his game-changing speed, agility, and goal sense. Affectionately nicknamed "Kozzy," Pickett has become a fan favourite for his ability to turn matches with moments of brilliance.

Born on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia and raised in Quairading, Western Australia, Pickett hails from a rich football lineage. He is the nephew of former AFL players Neville Jetta and Byron Pickett, the latter being a Norm Smith Medallist. Kysaiah's early football development included stints with Port District and Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL, showcasing his talent and earning him a first-round selection in the 2019 AFL Draft.

Since making his AFL debut in 2020, Pickett has played over 110 games and kicked more than 170 goals, solidifying his reputation as one of the league's premier small forwards. His 2021 season was particularly noteworthy, contributing significantly to Melbourne's premiership victory. In 2024, he achieved a career-best fourth-place finish in the club's Best and Fairest count, the Bluey Truscott Trophy.
Beyond his offensive prowess, Pickett is lauded for his defensive pressure and tackling intensity, often setting the tone for Melbourne's forward line. His versatility has seen him take on midfield roles, adding depth to his skill set and value to the team.
