​The highly-skilled left-footer enjoyed his best season in blue and gold in 2022, finishing ninth in the John Worsfold Medal following a switch from the forward line to defence. Originally recruited in March 2020 as a Supplementary Selection Period rookie, Jones has progressed to the senior list and his versatility to play at both ends of the ground, not to mention his pace, make the former Cat a handy utility for coach Adam Simpson.
